Male model search in Lille: portrait and nude collaboration

Do you live in Lille or the Lille metropolitan area, and have you been thinking about posing for a photo shoot for a while? I am a photographer specializing in artistic male portraits and nudes, and I regularly travel to Lille for collaborative sessions. No casting, no portfolio to provide, no rigid physical criteria: just the desire to create a beautiful series of photos together.

The principle: collaboration, not a service

Nobody gets paid — on either side. You pose, I shoot, and we share the results. You’ll walk away with a set of retouched images that you can use however you like (social media, modeling portfolio, personal projects), as long as you give me credit. It's non-commercial, and there's no pressure — we're doing this because we want to create something beautiful together.

This is a format often referred to as TFP (Time for Prints) in the photography world: everyone benefits, without any financial transaction. You get to expand your portfolio or enjoy a unique experience, while I expand mine and continue to develop my series.

Where can you shop in Lille?

I am not permanently based in Lille, but I come there regularly for shooting sessions — it's an opportunity to plan a group session with several days on-site if needed. Depending on the atmosphere we want to create, there are several options.

In my apartment in Old Lille

Natural light, a cozy atmosphere—ideal for intimate portraits or artistic nude photo series. This is the most private option, and often the most reassuring choice for a first session.

At your place, in your Lille apartment

It's often the best option when I'm passing through. Many series benefit from being shot in a natural environment. A bedroom, a bathroom, a sofa by a window: these places reveal something about you that a neutral studio can never capture.

Outdoors,

Old Lille with its cobblestone streets, the Citadel Park, the banks of the Deûle at dawn, certain more secluded rooftops or passageways: the city offers beautiful atmospheres depending on the season and the time of day.

Who I'm looking for

Men who are comfortable in their own skin—or curious about becoming more so. Athletic, slim, fit—it doesn’t matter: I’m looking for authenticity, not physical performance. A gaze that captures your attention, a posture that speaks volumes, a light that reveals.

Have you never modeled before? That’s great. Some of my models are experiencing it for the first time with me. We take our time, discuss the setting before the session, and nothing is forced.

Do you already model regularly? Even better: we can take the artistic direction a step further, create a conceptual series, and play with specific references.

You choose what we publish

This is one thing I won’t compromise on. After the shoot, I’ll show you a shortlist. You choose which photos to keep, which ones to retouch, and which ones to publish. No image will be released without your explicit consent.

If you want to pose nude but remain anonymous: have your face cropped out of the frame, blurred in post-production, or wear a physical mask during the shoot. Many Parisian models choose this option, especially when their professional lives aren’t compatible with public exposure. It’s completely legitimate, and it doesn’t detract from the power of the images.

How does a session in Lille go?

We'll start by chatting to get acquainted and schedule a date that coincides with one of my trips to your location. Together, we'll define the type of shoot (dressed portrait, semi-nude, artistic full nude), the visual mood, the location, and the desired level of anonymity.

On the day of the shoot, we’ll meet on location. A session usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the project. We’ll take the time to get settled, chat, and find the right rhythm—there’s no rush.

In the next few days, I'll send you the initial selection. You approve it. I'll make some adjustments. You'll receive the final set in high definition.

Ready to pose?

The easiest way is to send me a message on Instagram: @adartparis. Tell me a little about yourself, what interests you about this process, and what kind of session you have in mind. We'll start from there.

FAQ

  • Is it paid?

No, and you don’t pay anything either. It’s a collaboration: everyone contributes their time and energy, and everyone gets to keep the photos.

  • I have no modeling experience—is that a problem?

Not at all. I'll guide you through the session. For a first session, we take the time to talk beforehand so you feel comfortable and at ease.

  • Do I need to have a certain body type?

No. I work with a variety of body types. What matters is that you feel comfortable with your own body on the day of the shoot.

  • What if I change my mind during the photo shoot?

We either stop, adjust, or move on. Consent isn't just a box to check at the beginning—it's something that's constantly renegotiated.

  • Will my photos appear anywhere other than on your website?

I post them on the website and on Instagram, with your consent for each one. Beyond that, nothing is shared. Some series may eventually be produced as limited-edition prints, always with your consent.

  • Do you only shoot in Lille?

Lille is a regular stop for me, but My main base remains Paris. If you're in another city, we can discuss it on a case-by-case basis — I also travel elsewhere occasionally.
