Benoît's presence in this series is deeply ambivalent: at times shrouded in the darkness of an almost unsettling fetish hood, at times fully embracing the register of the muscular, shaven-headed daddy. Between pagan iconography and sacred aura, the calligraphy written on his skin makes us wonder: could this be the apparition of a disturbing divine presence?
